INGREDIENTS :
- Tiger Prawns 6pcs
- Maida 100 GMs
- Corn Flour 100 GMs
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Baking Powder pinch of
- Refined oil for frying
METHOD :
- Clean and cut the prawns from centre
- Take a bowl, mix equal quantity of Maida and Corn Flour along with salt, Pepper and Baking powder
- Mix it with water to make a smooth batter
- Take a pan, heat the oil
- Dip the prawns in the batter, then fry into the hot oil
- Fry till golden brown, serve hot
CHEF TIPS :
- For making the batter always use chilled water because that will make the batter more smooth
- Before adding oil to the pan, make sure the pan is hot that will help the oil to get heated quickly and it will never stick at the bottom of the pan
- To make it crispy always fry twice, half done the prawns first then heat the oil again then fry the prawns for 2-3 min again.
