Chilli Potato Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Chinese

Serves: 2-3 pax

Ingredients:

  • Potato 2-3
  • Corn Flour 100 GMs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Chilli sauce red or green 4-5 tablespoon
  • Tomato Ketchup 2-3 tablespoon
  • Onion 1 pc
  • Capsicum small 1 pc
  • Garlic Chopped 2 tablespoon
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes then Cut them into finger cutting
  2. Dust it with corn flour and fry in a hot oil till crispy
  3. Take another pan, add oil, chopped garlic, chopped onion and capsicum
  4. Then add all the spices and sauté it for 2-3 minutes
  5. Then add chilli sauce and ketchup and cook
  6. Add a bit of water and make it boil
  7. Then add the crispy potatoes and toss it till the mixture covers the potatoes
  8. Garnish with sesame seed and serve

Chef Tips:

  • While dusting the potatoes make it dry don’t add too much water, if you want you can sprinkle water if needed
  • Before frying the pan have to be hot then pour the oil then make the oil hot, by doing this you can save the potatoes from sitting in the bottom of the pan
  • Chilli sauce can be reduces if you want to eat less spicy and it can be increased if you want to eat more spicy
  • Toss the potatoes instantly as you take them out of the frying oil so that it remain crispy
  • Garnish can be sesame seed or spring onion or anything available at home

Veg Fried Rice Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Chinese cuisine

Serves: 2-3 pax

Ingredients:

  • Basmati Rice Raw 200 GMs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Carrot 1pc
  • Beans 50 GMs
  • Soya sauce 1-2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Soak the rice and then boil and strain it
  2. Cut the veggies into small dice
  3. Take a pan, add oil, then the veggies and saute
  4. Add the spices into it and then rice
  5. Toss the rice with veggies till fully cooked
  6. Serve hot with garnish

Chef Tips:

  • Boil the rice 80% not more then that
  • Toss the rice with soft hand so that it doesn’t break
  • For making egg fried rice or chicken fried rice just add egg or chicken diced before adding the veggies
  • It’s a vegan recipe

Stir Fried Veggies Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Chinese Cuisine

Serves : 2-3 pax

Ingredients:

  • Onion medium 1pc
  • Broccoli 1 small
  • Cauliflower 1 small
  • Carrot 1 pc
  • Capsicum 1pc small
  • Beans 40-50 GMs
  • Mushrooms 5-6 pcs
  • Garlic 5 pcs
  • Spring Onion for garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Ajinomoto optional to taste
  • Corn flour 50 GMs

Method:

  1. Cut all the veggies in dice* and blanched* them except onion and capsicum
  2. Take a thick bottom pan or kadai, add oil then chopped garlic
  3. Then add all the veggies and sauté for 2-3 minutes
  4. Then add water in it and let it boil
  5. Add salt, pepper and other spices
  6. Let it come to boil, the add corn flour mixed in water to make the gravy thick
  7. Garnish with spring onion and serve hot

Chef Tips:

  • Blanching means to boil the veggies till cooked 80% and dice is cutting the veggies into cubes
  • Corn flour mixed in water have to be thin not thick
  • Ajinomoto is optional
  • It’s a vegan recipe

Honey Chilli Baby Potatoes

Cuisine: Chinese starter

Serves: 2 people

Ingredients:

  • Baby Potatoes 500 GMs
  • Onion medium 1pc
  • Capsicum medium 1pc
  • Honey 2tsp
  • Chilli sauce 4tbsp
  • Garlic 2-3 cloves
  • Green chilli 2 nos
  • Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Ajinomoto or broth powder to taste (optional)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Corn flour 100 GMs
  • Spring onion & Sesame seed for garnish

Method:

  1. Wash the potatoes and par boil them
  2. Dust it with corn flour and deep fry it
  3. Take a thick bottom pan, add oil, chopped garlic, chopped onion, chopped chilli and sauté
  4. Then add all the sauces and spices
  5. Then add the fried potato into it and sauté for 2 min then add honey into it
  6. Serve hot with the garnish

Chef Tips:

  • Don’t peel the baby potatoes wash them properly
  • Par boiling means to cook 80%
  • Cooking to be done on high flame to get that burnt flavour
  • This is a vegan recipe
