Afghani Chicken:

Serves: 2 people


  • Chicken with Bone 300gms
  • Hung Curd 100gms (Hang the yogurt in a muslin cloth or strainer to get hung curd)
  • Salt to taste
  • White Pepper to taste
  • Cashew paste 2tbsp
  • Ginger and Garlic paste 2tbsp
  • Cream 50gms
  • Butter 50gms
  • Coriander for garnish
  • Onion for garnish
  • Lemon 1pc
  • Chaat Masala for garnish


  1. Wash and clean the chicken and keep aside
  2. Then marinate it with Salt, Pepper, Ginger and Garlic paste, Cashew paste and Hung curd
  3. Keep the marinated chicken for at least 40min to max 3 hours
  4. We can cook the chicken with two different ways, one by using coal and one in Oven
  5. While cooking in oven temperature have to be 170 degree centigrade for 30minutes
  6. While cooking on coal fire, it will take 10 minutes to prepare the chicken
  7. After it is ready, garnish it with cream, butter, onion, lemon and sprinkle some Chaat masala on it to give a different flavour
  8. Present it on a platter and serve hot
