Chilli Potato Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Chinese

Serves: 2-3 pax

Ingredients:

  • Potato 2-3
  • Corn Flour 100 GMs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Chilli sauce red or green 4-5 tablespoon
  • Tomato Ketchup 2-3 tablespoon
  • Onion 1 pc
  • Capsicum small 1 pc
  • Garlic Chopped 2 tablespoon
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes then Cut them into finger cutting
  2. Dust it with corn flour and fry in a hot oil till crispy
  3. Take another pan, add oil, chopped garlic, chopped onion and capsicum
  4. Then add all the spices and sauté it for 2-3 minutes
  5. Then add chilli sauce and ketchup and cook
  6. Add a bit of water and make it boil
  7. Then add the crispy potatoes and toss it till the mixture covers the potatoes
  8. Garnish with sesame seed and serve

Chef Tips:

  • While dusting the potatoes make it dry don’t add too much water, if you want you can sprinkle water if needed
  • Before frying the pan have to be hot then pour the oil then make the oil hot, by doing this you can save the potatoes from sitting in the bottom of the pan
  • Chilli sauce can be reduces if you want to eat less spicy and it can be increased if you want to eat more spicy
  • Toss the potatoes instantly as you take them out of the frying oil so that it remain crispy
  • Garnish can be sesame seed or spring onion or anything available at home
