Ingredients:
- Okra aka Lady Finger 500gms
- Chopped Garlic 2 tbsp
- Corn Flour 150gms
- Vegetable Oil for Frying
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Ajinomoto to taste (Optional)
- Tomato Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Chilli Paste 2 tbsp
- Spring Onion for Garnish
- Dry Red Chilli for garnish
Method:
- Wash and Dry the okra then cut into Juliane
- Dust it with corn flour and deep fry in hot oil to make it crispy
- Take another pan, add oil, chop garlic, chilli paste, ketchup, all the spices and saute
- Then add the fried okra and toss it all the spices are mixed on it
- Garnish it with spring onion and dry chilli serve hot.
Chef Tips
- While cutting the okra make sure they are cut slanting and in one ahape
- Dusting of corn flour must cover it fully to make it more crispy
- The gravy and frying must be together so that as it is fried it can be mixed in gravy instantly
- This recipe is purely Vegan too
