Grilled Falafel Hummus Sandwich Easy Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Chickpeas 200 grams
  • Sandwich Bread 4pcs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Olive oil to brush before grilling

METHOD

  1. Prepare falafels by this recipe Falafel
  2. Prepare Hummus with this recipe Hummus
  3. Apply Hummus on the bread and then put the falafel patty on it
  4. Place another bread and then grill it
  5. Serve hot with Dip

Falafel Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Mediterranean

Serves: 4pax

INGREDIENTS:

  • Chickpeas (Choley) 500gms
  • Onion medium 1pc
  • Capsicum medium 1pc
  • Garlic chopped 1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder to taste
  • Sesame seed 1tsp
  • Lemon 1pc
  • Maida 3tbsp
  • Corn Flour 3tbsp
  • Green Chilly 1-2pc
  • Basil chopped
  • Vegetable Oil for frying
  • METHOD:
    • Soak the chickpeas over night, then boil it adding salt into it
    • Chop the vegetables finely, Onion, Capsicum, Garlic
    • When the Chickpeas are boiled drain the water and mash them
    • Add vegetables in the chickpeas and then add salt, pepper, chopped basil and lemon juice
    • Then add Maida and Corn Flour for binding
    • Make small round patty and shallow fry till golden brown
    • Serve hot with Hummus*

    Hummus Easy Authentic Recipe

    Hummus:

    Cuisine: Mediterranean Dip
    Serves: 2pax

    INGREDIENTS

    • Chickpeas 100gms
    • Tahini paste 2tbsp (If you don’t have Tahini paste, roast the sesame seed and blend separately with garlic)
    • Olive oil 4tbsp
    • Garlic 2clove
    • Salt to taste
    • Pepper to taste
    • Lemon juice 1tbsp
    • Parsley for garnish
    • Olives for garnish

    METHOD

    1. Boil chickpeas and drain water
    2. Take a blender jar put boiled chickpeas and start blending
    3. add salt, pepper, tahini paste, lemon juice, and oil, blend till it become smooth
    4. Put it in a bowl and serve with parsley, olive oil and olive as garnish

    Note: Hummus can be kept in refrigerator and can be use for 4-5 days as a dip for many items.

    If you don’t want to use garlic you can make it without it too
