Soyabean Shami Kababs

Cuisine: Indian Starters

Serves : 2-3 pax

Ingredients:

  • Soyabean Balls 250 grams
  • Green Peas 100 grams
  • Onion medium size 1 pc
  • Green chilly 2-3 pcs
  • Maida (optional) 100 grams
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilly powder to taste
  • Dhaniya powder to taste
  • Coriander green handful
  • Vegetable oil for shallow frying

Method:

  1. Grind the dry soyabean balls and make a powder of it
  2. Take a thick bottom pan and then all all the veggies and the soybean powder
  3. Add water and cook nicely
  4. Cool it and then blend it in the mixer grinder (Don’t use water)
  5. After the mixture is ready make flat patty of it and then shallow fry it
  6. Fry till golden brown and serve hot

Chef Tips:

  • If you using granules then you don’t have to make powder of it in dey form
  • Cook the mixture nicely
  • Adding of spices can be increased or decreased

Nachos And Salsa Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Continent

Serves: 2-3 pax

Ingredients

  • Makke ka aataa (Yellow Corn flour) 100 grams
  • Maida/Refined Flour 50-60 grams
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Oregano, Mixed herbs ping of
  • Tomatoes big 2-3 pcs
  • Green Chilly 1-2 pc
  • Tomato Ketchup 4-5 tablespoon
  • Lemon 1 pc

Method:

Nachos:
  1. Take a mixing bowl, mix makke ka aata and maida together
  2. Add the spices and 2 tablespoon of oil into it
  3. Make a dough with Luke warm water
  4. Then make small balls of the dough and roll it flat with rolling pin, make them thin. It’s called tortillas
  5. Dry cook them on a flat pan after making holes with fork* from both the sides
  6. Cut them into triangles
  7. Fry or Air fry them to serve hot
Salsa:
  1. Blanched the tomatoes in hot water
  2. De-skin and De-seed the tomatoes and then fine chop them
  3. Add salt and pepper into in, then tomato ketchup
  4. Add chopped green chilli and onion with lemon juice into it, mix well
  5. Serve with the nachos

Chef Tips:

  • *Make holes in the tortillas before cooking on flat pan with fork so that o won’t swell up while cooking
  • Make sure the nachos roti is cooked on low flame, it doesn’t have to be burnt
  • Blanched means to cook it 80-90% so that you can chop them easily
  • Nachos can be kept in form of round flat bread (Roti) for like 10 days in frodge
  • You can also serve it with cheese and salsa

Mixed Veggies Suji/Rawa Idly Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Indian Starter

Serve: 2-3 pax

Food Presentation

Ingredients:

  • Rawa/Suji 200 GMs or 1 Cup
  • Dahi/Curd 50 GMs or 3 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Carrot small size 1 pc
  • Beans 2-3 pcs
  • Green Chilli 2-3 pcs
  • Coriander leaves handful
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

Method:

  1. Chop all the veggies and keep together
  2. In a mixing bowl, take Rawa add curd, all the veggies, baking powder and salt
  3. Mix it with Luke warm water and leave it outside for atleast 20 min
  4. When you see bubbles have started coming in the batter take the idly stand and put the batter into it
  5. Steam it for 15-20 min till they are fully cooked
  6. Serve hot with Chutney

Chef Tips:

  • If you don’t have baking powder then also you can cook it
  • If you want to make it plain minus all the veggies
  • Steam can be done in a steamer or a thick bottom pan or patila

Onion Rings Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Continental Starter

Serves: 2-3 pax

Onion Rings Presentation

Ingredients:

  • Onion Big size 2-3 pcs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Bread Crumbs 250 GMs
  • Maida (All Purpose Flour) 100 GMs
  • Corn Flour 50 GMs
  • Ginger & Garlic Paste 2 tablespoon
  • Vegetable Oil for Frying

Method:

  1. Cut the rounds of Onion and take the outer rings out and keep asife
  2. Take a pan, mix Maida with corn flour along with salt, pepper, ginger & garlic paste and make a thin batter
  3. Take bread crumbs, if you don’t have bread crumbs or home you can take corn flakes (normal not Chocos)
  4. If you want to prepare bread crumb or home then toast 6-7 bread in a toaster or on a pan, don’t apply anything on it just dry toast, then blend it in the blender
  5. Now take the onion, dip in the batter then coat it with bread crumbs and keep aside
  6. After 10 min follow the same process with the same one time coated rungs
  7. Then keep it inside the refrigerator for 10-15 min
  8. Make the pan hot then the oil hot, deep fry it till golden brown
  9. Serve hot with Mayonnaise or ketchup

Chef Tips:

  • If you don’t find bread crumbs you can make it at home and mix both corn flakes and crumbs together
  • Make sure the onion rings should be thick not thin
  • The coating of bread crumbs is very important from each and every side
  • While frying don’t fry too much just put inside and as the colour come take it ouy
