Tawa Fish Easy Recipe (Tawa Macchi)

Cuisine : Indian Main Course

Serves : 2 pax

INGREDIENTS:

  • Fish Boneless 500gms
  • Onion medium 3 pcs
  • Tomato medium 3 pcs
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste 3Tbsp
  • Curd 100 grams
  • Salt to taste
  • Haldi to taste
  • Garam Masala to taste
  • Red Chilly Powder to taste
  • Kasoori Methi
  • Coriander Green Chopped
  • Vegetable for Grilling

METHOD:

  1. Marinate the Fish with Ginger-Garlic paste, Curd, Indian Spices and keep aside
  2. Cut the onion into Jullians and cook till golden brown
  3. Add Ginger Garlic paste then tomato Purée and cook till gravy is ready
  4. Grill the Fish till golden brown then pour the gravy into it
  5. Cook for 10 minutes then add Kasoori Methi and Chopped Coriander
  6. Serve hot with garnish and plating

CHEF TIPS:

  • While cooking the fish make sure to cook with soft hands so that pieces of fish doesn’t break
  • The Marination of fish should be kept minimum of 20min
  • It can be served with Rice or Indian Breads

Grilled Fish in Lemon Butter Sauce

Cuisine : Continental

Serves : 2 Pax

INGREDIENTS

  • Basa Fish Fillet 100 grams 4pcs
  • Egg 1pc
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Lemon 1pc
  • Butter 20 grams
  • Mint for garnish

METHOD

  1. Marinate the fish fillet with Salt, Pepper, Egg (Can use only egg white too)
  2. Take the butter and mix lemon into it with salt n pepper, keep aside after mixing properly
  3. After 20min of marination you can grill the fish on a pan for 10 min both side or Oven at 160 degree centigrade for 20min
  4. After it is grilled, put the lemon butter sauce and serve hot with garnish

NOTE: Make sure the fish is cooked properly and retain a golden brown colour

Lemon Butter can be preserved for 15days in the refrigerator

In place of butter you can use margarine for healthy alternate

Fish and Chips Easy Recipe

Cuisine : Continental

Serves : 2 Pax

INGREDIENTS

  • Fish (Basa/Sole) 500gms
  • Egg 2pcs
  • Refined Flour 100gms
  • Bread Crumbs 250gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Potato medium 3 pcs
  • Corn Flour 100gms

METHOD:

  1. Marinate the fish with Salt and Pepper and keep aside
  2. Take a bowl and make a batter of Refined flour with water
  3. Dip the marinated fish in Egg then in the Refined flour and then coat it with bread crumbs
  4. Take a pan and heat the oil
  5. Deep fry it till golden brown
  6. For chips, cut the potato into finger shape, coat it will corn flour then fry till golden brown
  7. Serve hot together with Tartar sauce or Mayonnaise

Tempura Fried Prawns Easy Recipe

Cuisine: Japanese

Serves: 2 pax

INGREDIENTS:

  • Prawns Medium Size 10pcs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Refined Flour (Maida) 200gms
  • Corn Flour 100gms
  • Egg 1pc
  • Baking powder pinch of
  • Lemon 2pcs
  • Lime 1pc for garnish
  • Refined oil for frying

METHOD:

  1. Wash and clean the Prawns in running water
  2. Marinate the Prawns with salt, pepper, lemon juice
  3. Take a big bowl, add refined flour, corn flour, salt, egg, baking powder together
  4. Make a batter with ice cooled water
  5. Keep the batter for 15min
  6. Take a pan and make the oil hot
  7. Then dip every piece of prawn and fry till golden brown
  8. Serve hot with Lime garnish
